Research interests:
My research focuses on Islamic political movements and states with a specific focus on Salafi and Shi’ite groups. My broader field of interest is Religions and Politics, Fundamentalism, Comparative Politics of the Middle East, Radicalization and Countering Violent Extremism, and Regime Stability & Change.
